Since 1990, I have navigated the evolving world of Information Technology as both a professional and a user with unique perspectives. My career as a programmer and IT Director has been built on a foundation of over three decades of technical problem solving. For me, accessibility is not just a set of rules in a legal document. It is a lived reality.
Navigating speech and motor coordination challenges has given me a firsthand look at the digital walls that many users face every day. I know what it feels like when a website is not built for everyone. I have spent my career finding ways to bridge those gaps. Because my own therapy focused on speech, my writing and typing challenges were often overlooked. I understand the frustration of being locked out of a digital space that should be open to all.
